Early Life

Sabre Elle Norris was all of 9 when she scripted history as the first Australian female and the third in the world to complete a 540 skateboard stunt on a half pipe. A video of her stunt was posted on the YouTube channel The Berrics and went viral soon.

Apart from becoming a viral sensation with her skateboarding records, Sabre also became the second-youngest surfer to receive a wild card entry into the World Surf League event at the Sydney International Pro.

Social Media Career

Sabre first established herself as a surfing and skateboarding prodigy. However, she later shot to fame as a social media influencer and content creator with her engaging content on her family YouTube channel, The Norris Nuts.

The channel, which was launched by Sabre’s parents on June 29, 2014, has, over the years, gained more than 6 million subscribers and over 3 billion views. The content on the channel primarily consists of family vlogs, pranks, talk-times, and challenges. The other YouTube channels of Sabre’s family are Norris Nuts Gaming, Norris Nuts Do Stuff, Norris Nuts Clips, and Norris Nuts Cooking.

Sabre’s skateboarding and surfing talent, couple with her social media fame, got her featured in several magazines, such as Seventeen, NY Daily News, and UK Daily.

In 2013, Sabre appeared in Kid Mac’s music video Higher. Along with social media, Sabre has devoted an equal amount of time to her sports career. In 2016, she achieved an all-time high World Surf League ranking of 190. She is now one of Australia’s top professional surfers, along with Coco Ho, Sally Fitzgibbons, and Isabella Nichols.

In 2018, Sabre stood first in the Bowl-A-Rama in Bondi. The same year, she stated on YouTube that she was about to reduce her time on social media to focus on her sports career. She also won a silver at the X Games Women’s Skateboard Streets competition in 2018, during her debut appearance at the games.

Sabre has also appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She is equally popular on Instagram and TikTok, too. She once posted an Instagram dance video with Maddie Ziegler. She has also endorsed brands such as Slurpee.

Family Life

Sabre’s father, Justin, and her mother, Brooke, have both collaborated with her on their family social media YouTube channel, The Norris Nuts. Sabre’s father also happens to be a professional swimmer and a former Olympic medalist. Sabre’s siblings, namely, her brothers, Biggy and Disco, and her sisters, Naz, Sockie, and Charm, have all been featured on their family channel.

In 2017, Sabre was diagnosed with Chiari malformation, which restricted her growth, as her brain tissues extended into her spinal canal.
