Sondre Rodriguez is a Norwegian social media star best known for his TikTok profile @sondrerp on which he earned popularity for sharing lip sync videos. He further shared pictures on Instagram and live-streamed on YouNow and YouTube, although he is currently not active on any of the social media platforms. He has also deleted all his past videos from his TikTok profile. Outside of social media, he is known for playing youth football.
Early Life
Sondre Rodriguez has been playing football since childhood. At the age of 13, he began playing for the youth division of Drøbak-Frogn 2 and played for Drøbak-Frogn 3 the next year. He subsequently played for YMCA and Skeid at the age of 16. He also played youth football for Spoon in under 16 and under 19 categories. His home ground was the NFF Oslo Football Ground.
Career
Sondre Rodriguez started his social media career on the streaming platform YouNow in March 2016, when he was just 13 years old. He then gradually moved to other platforms like musical.ly (which is now TikTok) and Instagram. He earned popularity on both platforms with the handle @sondrerp. He was particularly popular for his lip sync videos, primarily to rap songs, thanks to which he still commands a massive fan base on his TikTok profile. He had lip-synced to Ohtrapstar's Choppa and had celebrated #Splayday with friends when the app was still called mucial.ly. He was also nominated at the Kids' Choice Award in 2018. One of his TikTok videos, set to Gnash’s You Only Call Me When It's Raining, remained his most-liked video for a long time. However, his profile no longer contains any videos.
Although he is no longer active on his original Instagram profile, on which he used to share pictures with friends, several of his photos, selfies and fashionable pictures of himself can still be found on the fan page with the handle @sondre.rodriguez, which was also abandoned after he became inactive. In the past, he also actively shared videos of him on the VK platform for a while. He further has an eponymous YouTube channel, and although he has not uploaded any videos on the channel, he had live-streamed there a few times in 2017-18. Based on a SoundCloud profile called “YouTubers Music” from 2018, he was also a part of the music-focused Instagram profile @teamsdoffcial along with some of his friends including John Marcus and Nikolaj Paphalmy.
