He joined Twitter in 2009, although that profile in no more available, while his currently available Twitter account, @RudanC, was created in 2014 but has not been updated since March 2017.

In December 2013, he created a second YouTube channel called TheRuduLife (which was later renamed to TheRunUpLife), to post behind the scenes videos. While still studying in college, he discovered the live broadcasting service YouNow, which was the platform on which he first gained popularity. Shortly after starting to broadcast on YouNow, he earned fans thanks to his comedic talent and became one of the top stars on the platform, and even left college to focus on social media. He was nominated for the “Best YouTube Comedian” at the 7th Shorty Award and the “YouNower of the Year” at the 8th Shorty Award.

Rudan, who was also a trained dancer who took dance lessons, including ballet dancing, gained popularity on YouTube due to his dance skills showcased in his videos. He is proud of his rapping capabilities as well, and decided to start his music career in 2015. As a senior YouNow star, he collaborated with other popular YouNow stars, Timmy Connors, Nick Bean, Edwin Burgos, and Zach Clayton, to create the group 5quad, inspired by the YouTube group Our 2nd Life. The group released their first EP, TRENZ, in December 2015. Much later in 2020, they released the album Project 5 through the Capitol Hill Music record label. Relationships

In early 2015, Rudan Custodio started dating fellow social media star Maddie Welborn, which the latter had announced through her Twitter in March that year. The pair was given the nickname "Raddie” by the 5quad fans and they often made video broadcasts together under the tag Raddie. They also appeared on each others' YouTube channels, but their relationship was short-lived as Maddie's father was against it and reportedly even threatened to take legal action against Rudan if he did not stop talking to Maddie. He publicly expressed his sadness over the issue on social media and later deleted most content from his social media accounts like Instagram and YouTube.
