American teen sensation, Instagram star and a former Vine star River Bleu is also a fine actor and a talented dancer. While she first gained fame with her funny Vine videos, she later gained recognition through her entertaining dance videos and lip syncs on TikTok. She is popular on YouTube and Instagram, too. River has attended Coachella 2019 and has endorsed several brands, too. In 2014, she made her TV debut with an episodic role on the show Sam & Cat. She is also known for her multiple tattoos.
Early Life
River Bleu, also known as Rivy or Rive, was born into a multi-racial family and has Black, White, and Hispanic roots. While she was initially supposed to be named Lexi or Malea, she was eventually named River and loved the unique name. Growing up, River had many dogs. Before gaining fame as a social media star, she created her Vine account in August 2013 but was not too active on it.
Career
River began posting her unique content on Vine in January 2014. At 14, she underwent a painful wisdom tooth removal surgery. She documented her reaction to anesthesia and posted it in March 2017.
River shot to fame with her entertaining skits and clips on Vine and her collaborations with internet stars such as Ben Taylor, Malak Watson, Noah Riley, and Tayvion Power.
After Vine shut down, she created her YouTube channel, where she posted her 1st video, 50 facts about me!, on February 28, 2017. She soon gained popularity with her vlogs, tags, discussions, and challenges on her channel.
She then shot to fame with her pop and hip-hop dance and lip syncs on TikTok and amassed a million followers on the platform. An actor, too, she made her TV debut as Alexandra in Sam & Cat (2014).
She then appeared on shows such as Shameless (2016) and Life in Pieces (2016) and appeared in a minor role of a dancer in the 2018 TV movie Rhino.
In April 2019, River appeared at Coachella. River is quite a sensation on Instagram, too, where she has promoted brands such as Lilunderwear.
Family
River Bleu dated influencer and rapper Jaden Delarosa, or Jaden Rosa/Kiddelarosa, from 2016 to 2018. In a post on June 22, 2015, River posted a picture of her father on social media. It is believed River’s mother, Maria Chaidez, or Ria, and her father, The Scotty (Ralo piB), are separated. River also has an older autistic brother, Mikey, and a sister.
River has often mentioned her mother as her source of inspiration. She has also showcased her mother’s social media handle, chitababy, on her own Vine profile.
In May 2017, River got a tattoo of a pink ribbon on her wrist/forearm, symbolizing her grandmother’s death due to cancer and her mother’s diagnosis of cancer. River also has the quote “Forever in my heart” tattooed on her arm. On December 1, 2017, River revealed that her mother was about to undergo surgery for cancer.
