Career
Mustafa Goelbasi had started his social media journey on YouTube by uploading his first video, DIE SKURRILSTEN GESETZE IN DEN USA, on September 9, 2014, at the age of 11. He was originally active on the channel named Silent Boy, on which he mostly uploaded videos in German. On the channel, he primarily uploaded videos reacting to content by other social media stars. He also uploaded challenge videos and posted a travel vlog from a train in June 2017. He made several prank videos like WHATSAPP SONGTEXT PRANK AN FREUNDIN! ( Endet Pervers. WTF ) ?? and WHATSAPP SONGTEXT PRANK AN BI*TCH ( Endet schlimm.. Polizei ! ) ?? which crossed one million views each. However, reaction videos were the most popular on his channel, with one video of him reacting to musical.ly (now TikTok) videos becoming the most viewed video on his channel. He had crossed 10 million views on his channel by December 2016. Several of his videos saw him collaborating with small-time YouTubers, where they competed in various challenges or reacted to how people use TikTok and Snapchat.
Apart from YouTube, he was active on Instagram with the handle @mustafa.goelbasi, where he mostly shared selfies and fashion pictures. A travel enthusiast, he had visited New York in June 2019 and had posted a photo of him standing on a bridge in New York City holding a giant snake. He had also shared a picture with German singer Lukas Rieger. He often used the hashtag “mustinator” while sharing pictures on Instagram. However, he stopped updating his Instagram profile several years ago.
