Money Kicks, real name Rashed Belhasa, is an Emirati social media star and professional boxer who gained fame by showcasing his expensive sneaker collection on his YouTube channel, Money Kicks. He further flaunts his designer outfits and luxury supercars through YouTube and other platforms like Instagram handle, @rsbelhasa and TikTok profile @moneykicks971. He lost his first professional fight against Traycho Georgiev in 2022. In October, he revealed surviving a kidnapping attempt in London during a promotional visit.
Career
Money Kicks started his social media journey on Instagram in May 2013 and created his YouTube channel one month later. For years, he has built a trainer collection of over 500 pairs of shoes, featuring highly sought-after pairs of Air Jordans and Yeezys, as well as a pair of game-worn football cleats which were gifted to him by Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba. He started showing off his sneaker collection to celebrities who visited his house and made videos to share on his YouTube channel. Since then, he has featured celebrities like rappers Wiz Khalifa and Travis Scott, and footballer Mesut Ozil on his video series Sneaker Talk.
He also often showcases his designer clothes and accessories in his pictures and videos. He has been seen rocking all-Gucci fits, Louis Vuitton tees and Supreme bags. His outfits often feature a custom-made jewelry piece, showing the number 971 – the UAE’s area code – spelt out in diamonds. He already owned a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, a Rolls-Royce Wraith and a Lamborghini Aventador at 16 and also shows off his supercars in luxury brand logos.
Boxing
In July 2021, after being mentored by YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul, Money Kicks defeated fellow Emirati YouTuber Anas Elshayib by unanimous decision on his boxing debut. Three months later, he won his bout against Dubai-based boxer and influencer Ajmal Khan by knockout. Technically, undefeated, he revealed following his 20th birthday in January 2022 that he was ready to fight boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, who boasts an undefeated record of 50-0, stating that he “grew up with lions”. The two sides had public interactions regarding the same, but when nothing materialized, he instead opted to take a much bigger opportunity by making his pro boxing debut on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk in August 2022, but lost to Traycho Georgiev via split-decision. In 2023, he teased a fight against rapper MC Stan in India.
Family Life
Money Kicks was born as Rashed Belhasa to billionaire construction mogul father Saif Ahmed Belhasa, an Emirati entrepreneur, businessman, and the chairman of Saif Belhasa Group. He was raised in luxury and lives with his father in a house with a full-sized football ground and its own exotic zoo with around 500 animals that has become a tourist attraction frequented by many A-list celebrities like Lionel Messi, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Floyd Mayweather and Anthony Joshua. He has even named some of his animals after some of the celebrities like Paris Hilton, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rihanna, Mariah Carey and Jackie Chan.
