Luisito Comunica is the online alias of Mexican YouTuber, vlogger and entrepreneur Luis Arturo Villar Sudek. He gained popularity through his travel vlogs from around the world that educates about different cultures from different countries. Alongside popularity, he has been subjected to many hoaxes accusing him of crimes like poisoning pigeons, kidnapping and sexually assaulting women, maltreatment and even terrorism, prompting various authorities to make statements about fake news.
Early Life
Luisito Comunica attended Instituto Oriente de Puebla before pursuing a Communication Studies course at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, although he didn’t complete the degree. He subsequently served as an English teacher at a school that admitted students expelled from other institutions. He reportedly taught English through music.
Career
Luisito Comunica had originally started a YouTube channel called Piano Para Gente Cool in 2007 to make piano tutorials and piano covers of songs. The channel, which was later renamed to LouieArtie, was unsuccessful and was eventually abandoned. He then had another channel called OciodeLuisito, where he uploaded vlogs about his day-to-day life. He created the channel in October 2011 and uploaded a few dozen videos until PERREO INCÓMODO (Al Volante), in May 2013, which is also his most watched video on the channel.
His current main channel, also named Luisito Comunica, was created on April 14, 2012. The same year, he joined the YouTube team "NoMeRevientes”, led by Yayo Gutiérrez, which, he admitted, helped in the growth of his personal channel. Furthermore, he had relocated from his native Puebla to Mexico City to have access to better opportunities. On his new channel, he initially posted street interviews, but later shifted focus towards primarily travel vlogs. The channel was far more successful than his previous ones, especially after he started his series of “Provinciano” videos in Mexico City and latter in Europe in 2014.
With his rising popularity, he was invited by Google to map the Papalote Museo del Niño in 2017. In April next year, he created the English language channel, Luisito Around the World, to cater to his growing international audience. Also in 2018, he launched a clothing line under his pseudonym, Rey Palomo. In 2019, he appeared in the film Dedicada a mi ex and provided the voice of Sonic in the Latin American Spanish dubbed version of Sonic the Hedgehog. He published his first book, Lugares Asombrosos, in November 2019.
Next year, he launched the En Cortinas con Luisito podcast and participated in the documentary series, Aislado, about the isolation that occurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic, along with fellow Mexican internet personality Juanpa Zurita. He launched his own mobile phone company, PilloFon, in October 2020. He bought the shares of the Japanese food restaurant Deigo & Kaito in Mexico City in December 2020 and opened the fast food franchise Fasfu next year.
Family Life
Luisito Comunica was born as Luis Arturo Villar Sudek. He was in a relationship with YouTuber Lenguas de Gato in 2014-19. He started dating model Arianny Tenorio in August 2020.
