Landon Clifford was a teenage American YouTuber known for appearing on the Cam&Fam YouTube channel alongside his wife Camryn Turner and their two daughters. He and his wife documented their teenage pregnancy, marriage and daily life on the channel, while Landon was also active on his personal Instagram profile @landon_clifford. He committed suicide on August 13, 2020 and was announced brain dead on August 18, 2020.

Career

Landon Clifford gained popularity on the YouTube channel Cam&Fam, which his wife Camryn Turner had created. The first post on the channel, Gender Reveal | Teen Mom Vlog, was uploaded in November 2017, after the couple found out about their teen pregnancy. Even though the channel was primarily maintained by Camryn, Landon appeared in the first video and was later reintroduced to the channel on the video Family Reunited After 3 Months! on June 15, 2018. He subsequently did a Teen Dad Q&A with Camryn on June 17, 2018.

From then onwards, he appeared in several vlog type videos about Father’s Day, their First Family Photoshoot, the couple’s three year anniversary, their love story and engagement, and so on. They also made videos about their morning routine, pranks, makeup videos, cooking videos, and a meet and greet. Landon further made vlogs about his daily life as a fulltime dad, how he revealed the pregnancy to his family and featured his mother sharing her reaction in another video. He continued to appear on the channel as the couple moved from Florida to Texas, got married, took family trips together, and announced their second pregnancy.

Family Life

Landon Clifford’s parents are divorced and he mentioned feeling more comfortable about revealing his teen pregnancy to his father first, rather than his mother and stepfather. He met Camryn Turner in the summer of 2015, when they both were 14, and they started dating shortly after. Camryn became pregnant in July 2017 and their parents turned out to be more supportive than they had expected. They welcomed their first daughter, Colette Briar Clifford, on February 12, 2018, days before they both turned 17. They got married in June 2019, after which they welcomed another daughter, Delilah Clifford, on May 14, 2020.

Death

Through an Instagram post on August 22, 2020, Landon Clifford’s wife Camryn confirmed that her husband had died two days ago after being in coma for six days following a brain injury and donated his organs. Later on August 27, Camryn made an emotional YouTube video titled My Husband Passed Away, and revealed that Landon suffered from ADHD since childhood before falling into a deep depression following the birth of their second daughter, although it was a mutual decision. He sought help from a psychiatrist, but soon became addicted to his prescription drugs. Once they reunited after living separately for three months, on August 13, Landon repeatedly apologized to Camryn for all the trouble he had caused before going for his routine nighttime bath. However, she later found him hanging in the garage and called 911.
