ImAllexx is the online alias of English YouTuber Alex Elmslie who is best known for his self-titled YouTube channel on which he primarily posts commentary videos about trending topics. He has another channel with similar content called Internet Sensation Podcast and helps co-run The E-Boys Podcast. He previously streamed on Twitch but has abandoned the platform. He has courted controversy time and again for making damaging comments about people on the internet without substantial evidence.
Career
ImAllexx joined YouTube in August 2013 and posted his first video, VIEW BOTTING CHEATERS! featuring the FIFA video game, in December 2015. After he began making commentary videos about YouTubers like RiceGum, FouseyTube, PewDiePie, Faze Clan members and more, he quickly gained popularity on the channel, amassing over 65k subscribers in just two months between December 2016 and January 2017. He also made commentaries on video games such as Minecraft, Call of Duty and other Xbox games and opened a Twitch channel with the same username, although he has deleted all his content from there. His channel growth briefly stagnated in 2019 before picking up again, although his subscribers count started to decline later. In April 2022, he created another YouTube channel titled Internet Sensation Podcast on which he continues to talk about people and celebrities from various social media platforms.
Controversy
ImAllexx has been involved in various controversies over the years. In 2017, along with ElvisTheAlien and BionicPig, he had accused Zaptie of being a sociopath and pedophile, but although the other two later apologized to Zaptie, ImAllexx did not. He had sided with Tati Westbrook when he accused James Charles of being predatory to straight men in May 2019, but later apologized to Charles after the latter debunked the allegations. He again supported Chey when she accused her ex-boyfriend Slazo of being toxic in their relationship, but when Slazo showed evidence that Chey's allegations were untrue, ImAllexx still sided with Chey, for which he was severely criticized by several other YouTubers in the Baited podcast series.
Family Life
ImAllexx, born as Alex Elmslie, grew up with a brother named Will. He revealed in a Happy Hour Podcast that he had struggled with an eating disorder which made him suddenly feel revolted at the idea of eating. He went to therapy for the disorder and was further diagnosed with depression. In a now-deleted Twitch clip, he had revealed that he possibly also had Borderline personality disorder (BPD) or Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), although was not able to get it checked out due to coronavirus. In a Tweet from June 3, 2020, he revealed that he was sexually assaulted when he was 20 years old.
He came out as bisexual in his video #ProudToBe With Chris Ray Gun, which he later made private. He dated the YouTuber kingani aka Ani Tilki in 2017. They also shared a joint YouTube channel that was deleted following their breakup. He is thought to have dated his former roommate George (Memeulous). He began dating Alice Heseldine in 2023.
