Early Life
iHasCupquake’s mother got her into modeling as a child to keep her active. However, she latter stopped modeling in order to not miss out on school field trips, and instead, got into different sports like figure skating, ballet, swimming, soccer and softball. She eventually attended a private school. She became interested in videos games following her older brother and discovered PC gaming after playing her first FPS game, Counter-Strike, at a LAN party. She and her brother also often competed against each other in drawing from squiggly shapes. She attended Pasadena City College in 2006-08 and then obtained a bachelor of fine arts degree in Illustration from California State University, Long Beach, in 2011. In college, she had a “boring” part-time job as a lifeguard for six years.
Career
Before graduation, iHasCupquake did an internship at Cartoon Network for five months in 2010, working on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. She eventually left it because she realized that office job was not for her. Shortly after, she was introduced to YouTube by her friends and joined Machinima as a web show producer in August 2010. Although she was shy and thought none would watch her, she was well-received by the viewers.
After completing college, she continued to make videos and was very much enjoying creating content. She had created her personal channel, iHasCupquake, on August 19, 2010. Early on, she had a series called Gamer Talk, and started making videos on games like Minecraft, World of Warcraft, League of Legends and Portal. She later started another series called Piece of Quake. Her Minecraft videos contributed a lot to her popularity. She launched her own company, iHasCupquake Creative, in January 2013. She was nominated for a Teens Award in the Webstar Gaming category in 2014, but lost to PewDiePie.
Following criticism of her channel not being diverse, she revamped her channel in 2016 to spread more positivity. Her channel has since grown rapidly. In the 2018 Guinness World Records: Gamer's Edition, her name Tiffany was recorded for most views for a female games broadcaster on YouTube.
