Spanish model, influencer, and Instagram star Georgina Rodriguez is better known to the world as the girlfriend of iconic Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. She started her career as a waitress and then worked as a sales representative for Gucci. She is also trained in dance. After meeting Ronaldo, she shot to fame as a model. Over the years, she has modeled for well-known brands, such as Prada and Versace. She has also written a memoir and produced a Netflix documentary series on her life.
Early Life
Georgina Rodriguez is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and was born to a Spanish mother from Murcia and a Spanish-Argentine father. When she was a year old, she moved to the Spanish city of Jaca with her family.
Georgina later moved to London to study English and dance. She has also worked as a waitress and later as an au pair in Bristol. She eventually moved to Madrid, where she took up a job as a sales assistant.
Before she met Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina lived in a £250-a-month storage room converted to an apartment in Madrid. After meeting Ronaldo, she turned into a full-time model.

Georgina has shot to fame as a global model. Over the years, she has campaigned and modeled for some of the top-notch fashion brands of the world, such as Prada, Versace, YSL Beauty, and L’Oréal. She has also been featured on the covers of several popular fashion magazines, such as Women’s Health and Glamour.
She is also a social media star and has gained quite a fan following on Instagram. In December 2021, she posted a photograph of herself posing on the cover of the fashion and entertainment magazine Cosmopolitan. The post received more than a million likes within a short span of time. Her Instagram account, georginagio, has amassed over 50 million followers, over the years.
She is managed by Angels Project. The 2022 Netflix documentary I Am Georgina was based on her life and was even produced by her. The documentary came up with a second season in 2023. She has also penned the book Forever Together: Love in the Limelight, which chronicles her relationship with Ronaldo.
Family Life
Georgina is one of the two daughters of Jorge Rodríguez and Ana María Hernández. She grew up with her older sister, Ivana, who is an Instagram star in her own right. In her teens, she was in a relationship with Javier Hernandez Pineiro, who grew up to be a photographer and reality show star in Spain.
In 2016, she began dating global football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, after meeting him at a Gucci store where she served as a sales representative.
In November 2017, she had her daughter Alana Martina. On April 18, 2022, she had twins, a son, Angel, and a daughter, Bella Esmeralda. Angel, unfortunately, died soon after being born.
Georgina is also stepmother to three other children of Ronaldo: Cristiano Junior, who was born in 2010, and twins Eva Maria Dos Santos and Mateo Ronaldo Dos Santos, born in June 2017, via surrogacy.
