Georgie Fizz is the matriarch of the YouTube vlogging family seen on the channel Family Fizz who appears on the channel with her husband and four children: Mia, Sienna, Karma and Koa. She is active on their family Instagram and TikTok handles @familyfizz and runs the clothing brand Treasure Others. On her personal Instagram profile, @georgianafizz, she revealed in May 2023 that she had removed her breast implants after 14 years.
Career
Georgie Fizz and her then-partner Darren, who had an unhealthy lifestyle in the past, decided to turn vegan in 2012 after watching the 2005 documentary Earthlings about humanity's inhuman use of other animals. Initially, they had adopted a fruit-based diet that resulted in Georgie gaining weight, following which they switched to a balanced diet containing protein and healthy fats. They decided to use social media to promote their new healthy lifestyle and had originally made a YouTube channel in June 2014 called VeganFitnessCom, which was later renamed to Family Fizz.
They went on to release a recipe book titled Vegan Fitness 7 Day Meal Plan. The couple, who had also achieved the feat of being among the top 1% marathon finishers, stopped buying animal products or visiting zoos, and instead began attending vegan fests such as the Vegfest UK Vegan Athletes Summit.
In December 2016, Georgie and Darren sold their London flat and other assets to go on a long trip with their two daughters, Mia and Sienna, and began capturing their experiences through travel vlogs. The channel’s first video, titled VEGAN KID’S FIRST BURGER KING, was posted on December 1, 2016. They continued to post family vlogs and travel videos, while also occasionally updating viewers about their vegan lifestyle and diets. The channel now includes all sorts of typical YouTube content like pranks and challenges, while they also have profiles on other social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok with the handle @familyfizz. She has also set up a clothing and accessories brand called Treasure Others.
Family Life
Georgie Fizz, who was born as Georgie Simmons, mentioned that her great-grandfather was of Chinese descent. She has a sister named Haz Simmons who runs the YouTube channel Pugalicious Life. She gave birth to her first child, daughter Mia, in 2004 when she was 16 years old. Her then-boyfriend and Mia’s biological father was a drug addict and Georgie also struggled with drug and alcohol addiction at the time. However, she broke up with him and raised Mia alone until she met Darren, a certified personal trainer.
The two got engaged after the birth of their daughter, Sienna Hope, in 2011. Later, at the age of 30, she welcomed another daughter, Karma Oak, with Darren in 2018. Although they had planned to get married in a Las Vegas chapel, they actually got married in 2019 in a small ceremony at Grand Canyon in Arizona, which was a surprise from Darren. Georgie gave birth to her fourth child and first son, King Koa, in 2020.
