In December 2018, Garrett Casto was one of the recipients of the Presidential Scholarship, a four-year, full-ride scholarship for excellent performance in academics, organization, and high scores on all academic tests. He attended Utah Valley University between 2019 and 2023 and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
Career
According to his LinkedIn profile, Garrett Casto has been making social media content since the age of 12. At a young age, he began curating content of skateboarding, snowboarding, flips, and other fun adventures with his friends. He began his journey on TikTok in late 2019 by sharing skateboarding videos and had asked his viewers to caption his first video in its comments. He also made flip videos on trampolines and diving boards, as well as showcased his downhill snowboarding tricks. One of his TikTok videos from March 2022 went viral on the platform and earned more than 6 million combined views. One of his TikTok videos was set to music popularized by the rapper $not. Apart from his TikTok profile @gmcasto, he is also active on Instagram with the same handle. He created his self-titled YouTube channel on May 16, 2017 and started posting Shorts on November 2, 2022. He has mostly re-uploaded his short videos from other platforms on his YouTube channel and has not posted any regular video.
