Evelyn Reese Harper is an American YouTuber who is one half of the channel Emily and Evelyn which she shares with her older sister Emily. They started out making videos when they were just three and five years old and have been active for over eight years now. They post vlogs, travel videos, shopping hauls, skits, challenges, and pranks on the main channel and previously had a gaming channel as well.
Career
Evelyn Reese Harper rose to fame alongside her older sister Emily on the channel TwoSistersToyStyle, which was created on January 8, 2015 and has now been renamed to Emily and Evelyn. Their mother used to make videos of the children since Emily was a little girl and she uploaded those videos on her own channel. The kids later became interested in having their own channel as they watched pet shop videos together on YouTube. They begged their parents for a couple years before they were allowed to have their channel. Their first video on the channel was titled Shopkins Collection and was uploaded on the same day they got their channel, although the video is no longer available on the channel. While they started out making videos about “opening, reviewing and collecting toys”, they quickly shifted towards vlogs, travel videos, shopping hauls, skits, challenges, and pranks. In fact, the oldest video on the channel currently is 7 Funny Ways to Make fun of Your Babysitter GONE TOO FAR! from June 2019 as they have deleted or made private their older videos.
Much of their early content on the YouTube channel are now challenge videos. However, they also uploaded many vlogs about their daily routines, school, and tours. They also do a lot of shopping haul videos, which are some of their favorites. For Evelyn, their travel videos are even more interesting. In October 2020, they started a horror themed video series for Halloween and made similar videos the next year as well. They have also made several slime videos, and videos about baking, fashion, makeup and beauty. They made gaming videos on the channel Emily vs Evelyn Gaming, although they were not very active there and eventually deleted it.
Family Life
Evelyn Reese Harper is the younger of two daughters of her parents and has an older sister named Emily Mae Harper, who is exactly two years older than her. Although both the sisters were born in the United States, their father was born in England, while their mother was born in Poland. The family later moved from Florida to Los Angeles, California to further the kids’ acting aspirations. While neither of the parents has appeared in the YouTube videos, they are very much involved in the content creating process and managing the two sisters’ social media profiles. However, the sisters once shared a picture of their mother in one of their videos. Both the sisters previously attended public schools, but later switched to private schools. They own two dogs named Mango and Chai, and several fishes.
