Emma Slater is an English professional dancer and choreographer best known for her appearances on the American version of Dancing with the Stars. She began training in Ballroom and Latin American dance at the age of 10 and went on to win the British Under 21 Latin American Championships at the Blackpool Dance Festival in 2005. At 16, she broadened her horizons by acting in the UK play "Simply Ballroom." Born and raised in Sutton Coldfield, England, Emma grew up alongside her twin sister Kelly.
