Early Life
Though born in Utah, US, Elise moved to Puerto Rico with her family in January 2019. However, in July that year, Elise and her family moved to Kansas and settled in the US again. Interestingly, Elise and all her siblings have been homeschooled and have never ever been to a mainstream educational institute.

Since then, it has garnered millions of subscribers.
The family of seven mostly posts vlogs about their travel adventures, birthday celebrations, gift exchange ideas, shopping hauls, and even pregnancy updates from Kendra and Jeremy. Some of the channel’s most-watched videos are WARNING: He's HURT!, Laura’s 3 Year Old Birthday Special, TORNADO, and 3rd Birthday Party. Elise has been seen in most of the videos of the channel. One such video was a vlog posted in February 2021 that showed her family preparing for and celebrating her birthday. The channel’s description states they are “an imperfect family.”

Family Life
Being the first-born daughter and the second child of popular YouTube vloggers Jeremy and Kendra Johnston, Elise has been showcased on social media since birth. She grew up with her four siblings: her older brother, Isaac, and her younger sisters, Caleb, Laura, and Janae. They have all appeared on the family vlog channel J House Vlogs to showcase fun-filled moments from their daily lives.
Elise is known for her signature rectangular spectacles. Elise also apparently suffers from dyslexia. Her mother has described her in her blog as a tender-hearted girl who loves to cook, sing, and dance.
It is believed, before Elise’s birth, her parents had to go through infertility treatments. Elise was born 18 months after her older brother, Isaac. However, after her birth, Jeremy and Kendra did not need any more treatments, and Elise’s brother Caleb was born three years later. Caleb has, in the past, been diagnosed with Celiac disease and focal epilepsy.
Elise has apparently dated social media star Jacob Ballinger, son of YouTube celebrities Chris and Jessica Ballinger and part of the YouTube family channel Ballinger Family.
