DEDE 3X (pronounced Dede three times) is an American YouTuber and aspiring rapper who rose to fame for his association with YouTuber MacArthur “FunnyMike” Johnson. He appeared on the FunnyMike channel as part of The Bad Kids alongside BadKid.Jay, Badkid Mark, WooWoo, and Bad Kid Tray and released several songs like 3X, Fresh, and Broken Heart when he was just 11-12 years old. He later released the song Same Nigga on his channel Official Dd3x and is also active on the Instagram profile @_.1mdd3x_.
Career
One of DEDE 3X’s first appearances was on the video DEDE 3X GOT TURNED DOWN BY A GIRL TODAY!! on the FunnyMike channel on November 19, 2017, following which Mike taught him to drive in another video next month. On December 26, 2017, he dropped his first official music video 3X. He then teamed up with fellow Mike protégé WooWoo to make the song Dede3x Ft Woo- Do The WooWoo, which released the very next day. He was subsequently interviewed by Mike along with WooWoo and Tray, who jointly made music under the brand The Bad Kids, in the video DEDE3X FIRST INTERVIEW!!! The group became very popular and later grew to include several members from Mike’s kids including Badkid Mark and BadKid.Jay.
On December 31, 2017, DEDE 3X teamed up with Jay and Tray to release the song Fresh. He subsequently appeared in a number of vlog videos with the other kids on the FunnyMike channel before the release of his next song, Broken Heart, on June 8, 2018. The official music video of the song, featuring Jay and Tray, was released on September 11. Although his appearances on the channel decreased significantly in the following months, he was active on his Instagram profile @_.1mdd3x_ and later started posting gaming videos on the channel Official Dd3x in July, 2020.
Arrest
On February 1, 2023, a video titled BadKidDeDe3x IN JAIL Dede3x Arrested For M……? FunnyMike , Jay & Bam on the channel TheBadKids ShadeRoom claimed that DEDE 3X was arrested, and while the reason behind it was not clarified, many thought that the ‘M’ stood for murder. While there was not any official announcement from Mike or The Bad Kids, many chose to believe the rumors considering the fact that DEDE had not posted anything since January 3rd. Many flocked to the video stating how that is exactly what Mike was trying to prevent by giving the kids a place and a platform, and blamed DEDE for not being able to utilize it and rather go down a dark path. Interestingly, DEDE appeared on the channel YouTubers Interviews on the video DeDe3x The Truth About Going To Jail For Murder “We Punched On The OPPS IN Jail” on March 2nd and claimed that he was arrested for doing graffiti on the wrong block. He revealed that he was in jail for 3-4 weeks.
Family Life
DEDE 3X was raised in Louisiana alongside two brothers and one sister. One of his brothers is Badkid Mark.
