Daniel Howell

Daniel Howell is a British vlogger and radio personality who has been co-hosting a show on BBC Radio 1 with his best friend Phil Lester since 2013. Howell's self-titled YouTube channel has garnered over 6 million subscribers, showcasing his popularity and influence in the digital space. In October 2015, Howell and Lester released a book titled "The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire," which further cemented their status as prominent content creators. Howell was initially inspired by YouTubers like TomSka and was convinced by Lester to start his own channel in October 2009. Although he briefly attended the University of Manchester intending to study law, Howell decided to drop out to focus on his burgeoning career in YouTube and radio. He also contributed to The Huffington Post with a weekly blog until the end of 2012.
