Dai Time (pronounced day time) is a self-proclaimed “quadruple threat” who has become a social media influencer, editor, media correspondent and host at the tender age of 17. She has released several songs and a children’s book. She founded her own magazine, Dai Time Magazine, at 11 and established her own company, DT Entertainment, at 15. She also has her own talk-show.
Early Life
As a child, Dai Time was passionate about singing and wanted to become a popular celebrity. She has trained in ballet, gymnastics, competitive cheerleading, and boxing. She also taught herself to play the piano from YouTube. She completed her school graduation in May 2022, at the age of 16. However, she had already started taking college classes at 14.
Career
Dai Time started her social media journey by releasing her debut single, My Tutu, through her YouTube channel in December 2012. She followed it up with a music video and more songs like Hair Bows and Skates and Best Friend. She started posting on Instagram in December 2014. She has been a social media user since she was a child, and as soon as she realized that she could make a living off of creating content on social media, she began doing it. She thoroughly researches latest trends daily and loves participating in all the trends. She has also released a children’s book titled My Tutu.
She loved taking to the red carpet with a microphone to interview celebrities and has been doing it since the age of 11. She has conducted interviews at events like the BET Awards and the NAACP red carpet, and has talked to celebrities including Shaquille O’Neal, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Gabrielle Union. Also at 11, she founded the Dai Time Magazine on April 1, 2017. Through the magazine, which is published quarterly via print and online, she highlights outstanding youth stories to inspire the youth to become leaders in all communities. At 15, she established her own content company, DT Entertainment.
She made news headlines in 2021 after she hosted a “pink prom” at the Wish House in Los Angeles for more than 200 other leading influencers and creators. In 2022, she was selected from 500 applicants to have her first Snapchat Teen Talk titled It’s Dai Time show, written and produced by her. The show, which aims at bringing pop culture news and updates to her massive Gen Z audience, was green-lit for a second season in September that year. Also an actress, she portrayed Amelia in the Brat TV series Attaway General in 2021-22.
Family Life
Dai Time was born as Dai Arceneaux. Although born and raised in Smyrna, Georgia, she is currently residing in Los Angeles, California. She had expressed her intention to move there and her mother, who she says is her biggest supporter, made sure it happened. She is an only child. She is a proud dog-mother and loves to play with her dog during spare time. She is also very fond of roller skating.
