Prior to her rise to fame on YouTube alongside her husband, Shay Carl, Colette worked as an exercise trainer. She has a passion for singing and playing the ukulele. In 2012, she showcased her athleticism by running a half marathon during the San Francisco Marathon. One of her notable videos, "Letting a Dream Die," has garnered over 4 million views since its release in September 2017.
