Chad Roberts, also known as “anything4views”, is an Australian streamer, YouTuber and podcast host who is best recognized for co-hosting the podcast Cold Ones with fellow YouTuber MaxMoeFoe, on which he has interviewed popular internet celebrities such as Pyrocynical, Twomad and even PewDiePie. He frequently collaborates with TVFilthyFrank and iDubbbzTV, and previously co-hosted the Baited! podcast with Keemstar and Colossal is Crazy.
Early Life
Chad Roberts attended a boarding school for underperforming young adults in Queensland. Growing up as an only child, he was obsessed with videos games like World of Warcraft (WoW). He was a class clown in school who often got into trouble and skipped classes to work on his WoW character in the library. He eventually completed his graduation from Curtin University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in business and commerce.
Career
Before joining YouTube, Chad Roberts worked as a cook’s apprentice in a small town and also briefly worked as a house painter. He started his own YouTube channel in March 2011 with the name MonkRage, although he didn’t initially upload any videos and rather appeared in other people’s channels. He was friends with MaxMoeFoe since they were teenagers after he sent him a Facebook friend request lying about being a popular video game streamer. He once offered MaxMoeFoe one million gold in the game Diablo III, following which they started collaborating on HowToBasic videos, and he made his earliest on-camera appearance on the video, The China Abortion, on the maxmoefoe channel in March 2015.
He and MaxMoeFoe soon started collaborating with fellow YouTubers TVFilthyFrank and iDubbbzTV. The four of them filmed numerous videos together, among which the most popular and notorious was DUMBASS GETS PEWDIEPIE TATTOO on the TVFilthyFrank channel, which showed him getting PewDiePie's logo tattooed on his buttocks. Even PewDiePie reacted to the video, giving it more exposure. It also contributed to his username, as he was told by TVFilthyFrank to change his Twitter name to “anything4views”. He eventually started streaming under the MrMonkRage and anything4views handles. He also started a podcast called "Cold Ones" where he interviewed popular personalities and was later joined by MaxMoeFoe. Following the popularity of the podcast, he renamed his original channel to Cold Ones. Along with Keemstar and Colossal is Crazy, he was also a part of the Baited! podcast. He had a series called Tinder Dates where he live-streamed his dates with several women.
Family Life
Chad Rick Roberts was actually born in Iceland, although his family shifted to Australia when he was very young. His mother Julia worked as a cook at a tuck shop in a school, while his father Björn was a baker. His alcoholic father was abusive toward him and his mother and he is no longer in talking terms with him. He revealed in one of his streams that his father disowned him over his iDubbbz tattoo because he assumed that it meant Chad was gay. He is engaged to Australian body-positive model and animal rights activist Stefania Ferrario.
