Carson Genal is an American social media star and athlete who is best known for his TikTok profile @carsongenal. He rose to fame on social media along with his brothers Connor and Tucker as “Genal Boys”, but they later started focusing on their individual accounts. He is active on Instagram with the handle @carsongenal. He and his brothers also manage the TikTok collective Hustle House.
Early Life
Carson Genal attended Gulf Coast High School in Naples, Florida, where he played varsity football as a senior and helped his school team to their first district championship in 2016. He was ranked Top 10 in Collier County for receptions (38) and receiving yards (447). Upon graduating, he entered Florida International University, where he redshirted his freshman year in 2017 and appeared in two games for the Panthers at tight end in 2018.
Social Media Career
Carson Genal and his brothers Connor and Tucker always loved making videos about sports. Carson encouraged his brothers to become active on various social media platforms in 2014. The trio of them called themselves “Tre Bro” and appeared together on the Instagram profile @TDG3_ERA, which is no longer available. Carson created his personal, self-titled YouTube channel in May that year and uploaded the first video, titled Best Pool Dunks and Trick Shots, on June 21, 2014. The video featured the three brothers, and had “guest appearances” by their father and John Hawkins. He also had a personal Instagram profile with the handle @CarsonGenal3.
After TikTok became immensely popular among the youth, Carson convinced his brother to join the bandwagon after they returned home from school one summer day in May 2019. On their joint account @genalboys, they started to post football related videos which were very popular. Their first viral video on TikTok was one about trick-catch that quickly gained over a million likes. One of the most popular videos on Carson’s personal profile was a video of him starting his college football career. In 2020, he crossed one million followers on his TikTok profile, and along with his brothers, created the Los Angeles based TikTok collective Hustle House.
Although Carson Genal and his brothers have had their personal profiles from the beginning, they mostly focused on creating content together. However, that changed in early 2020 as he made the announcement through his Instagram profile on March 12, 2020 that he and his brothers had reached an agreement to focus on their individual accounts instead of all of them posting on their joint account. He subsequently took over their already popular Instagram profile, while his brother Tucker took over their TikTok profile.
