American social media star, YouTuber, and music artist Cali Rush, is the daughter of the famous YouTuber couple Tray and Keshia Rush. Introduced to social media through her father’s Instagram account, Cali later played a major role on her YouTube channel FamousTubeKIDS, with her brother Kameiro, and then on the family YouTube channel, FamousTubeFamily. She is primarily known for her family vlogs, dance clips, music, and toy reviews. Cali is also popular on Instagram and TikTok. In 2021, she released her first single, Starburst.
Early Life
Canadian-born Cali Sadé Rushton is better known as Cali Sade, or Cali Rush, to her fans. Cali was introduced to social media by her YouTuber and social media star father, who had posted a photo of her, captioned “My motivation,” on his Instagram account in March 2014.
Social Media Career
After debuting on social media through her father’s Instagram account, Cali became a known face on her family’s popular YouTube channel, The Rush Fam. The channel, formed in September 2015, has gained more than 2.6 million subscribers, over the years.
She also became the star of her father Tray’s previous channel, TodayWithTray. One of her father’s 2016 vlog videos, WHAT'S WRONG WITH CALI??, featuring Cali, earned over 5 million views within a year.
On September 29, 2016, Cali and her brother Kameiro launched the YouTube channel FamousTubeKIDS. The channel later evolved into FamousTubeFamily and now has over 5.7 million subscribers. The channel also has an Instagram account, which has garnered over 58,000 followers, over the years. The Rush family primarily shares family vlogs, challenges, and skits.
Cali’s parents later decided to launch a separate channel for her. Thus, Cali’s Playhouse was launched on YouTube on December 6, 2017. The channel showcases everything related to Cali, such as her music, ASMR, toy reviews, gaming videos, and her routine.
Some of her most-watched videos on the channel have been Cali’s Face Turns Purple, Gymnastics with Cali, and Cali Transforms into JoJo Siwa. The channel now has more than 1.9 million subscribers.
