Brodack briefly studied at Worcester State College and two Massachusetts community colleges before working as a restaurant hostess and volunteering for the Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans (NEADS) program. Her most famous YouTube video, "Crazed Numa Fan!!!!," amassed over eight million views shortly after its release.
