David Brown, known by his stage name Boyinaband, is an unclean and rap vocalist, synthesizer player, and MC who fronted the four-piece band You and What Army. He gained significant recognition through his YouTube channel Boyinaband, where he creates music tutorials, skits, and band videos for his more than 2.8 million subscribers. Launching his YouTube channel in 2007, David began recording an EP titled "Soundtrack to the Apocalypse" with You and What Army in his home studio in 2009. He studied computer games programming and computer games design, showcasing his diverse skill set beyond music. David is known for his extremely long hair, often colored with orange dye, which has become a distinctive part of his image.
