American YouTuber, film reviewer, and filmmaker Bobby Burns shot to fame with his reviews of popular films, YouTube culture commentary, and entertaining series. Apart from his primary channel, Bobby owned another channel, which showcased stop-motion animation films. Bobby had a mock talk show too. However, after 2021, he suddenly disappeared from the social media scene.
Early Life
Bobby Douglas Burns, better known as Bobby Burns, or NASTY BOI, is from Columbia, Tennessee, and later moved to Buffalo, New York. He eventually settled in Los Angeles, California.
Addicted to films since childhood, he launched his YouTube channel BobbyBurnsOfficial in April 2014. He began posting movie reviews right away, and his first review was on Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece Reservoir Dogs.
Social Media Career
Bobby Brown is not just a film reviewer on YouTube but is also a budding filmmaker. Apart from his movie reviews on his self-titled YouTube channel, he is also known for his genre-mashing trailers and his video commentaries that analyze YouTube trends.
He once had a second YouTube channel, ChickenFeetFilms, where he showcased short films and stop-motion animated features. He has gained thousands of subscribers on his self-titled channel.
Bobby also gained fame for his countless YouTube series. For instance, he collaborated with the channel CinemaSins to create the series How To Make A ____ Film. The series showcased parodies about how to create movies like famous directors. His other popular series were My Thoughts On Movies and Does ____ Actually Suck?
Bobby also collaborated with fellow social media stars such as Shane Dawson. A December 2017 video featuring the two had received more than 2 million views. Some of Bobby’s best-known videos are If THE INCREDIBLES Was A CHRISTOPHER NOLAN Film and If FROZEN Was a Horror Film.
Burns also categorizes his content under version numbers, such as 1.0 and 2.0. After the end of version 5.0 in the video THE END OF BOBBY BURNS, Bobby started version 6.0, which was a music project, as NASTY BOI. In Bobby Burns 3.0, he started posting video essay-style commentary on YouTube culture, with topics such as The Real YouTube Rewind. Burns also showed how YouTubers manipulate their audiences. He also hosted his own mock talk show in December 2017, to highlight the favoritism rampant on YouTube. Bobby has posted his eye-catching modeling photos on his OnlyFans website too.
However, Bobby abruptly disappeared from social media after December 2021. His Instagram and Facebook accounts too have been deleted since.
Family Life
Bobby has been in a relationship with fellow YouTube star Jordanne Leigh. Jordanne had been seen in many of Bobby’s Instagram photos and YouTube videos.
Bobby is the oldest of the five siblings in his family. He suffers from a peculiar tic which has his right eye blinking at times. In 2016, he turned “more vegan.”
On August 31, 2018, he came out as bisexual in the video titled Coming Out. He has also spoken at length about mental health.
