Bethany Mota is a prominent YouTube star celebrated for her beauty tips targeted at young audiences. Her channel boasts over 9 million subscribers. Mota made history in 2014 by becoming the first YouTuber to be cast on "Dancing with the Stars." That same year, she won a Teen Choice Award for Most Popular Female Web Star and a Streamy Award for Best Fashion Show. Mota launched her YouTube channel at the age of 13 and later started her own clothing line with Aeropostale. In January 2015, she, alongside fellow YouTubers GloZell Green and Hank Green, had the unique opportunity to interview US President Barack Obama.

Born to Tony and Tammy Mota, Bethany received early support from her mother, who helped her monitor her YouTube channel. Her older sister, Brittany, is also a popular YouTuber, and Mota often features her niece, Marin Mae Wiley, on Instagram. Since 2016, she has been dating Dominic Sandoval, also known as D-Trix. While she won the Teen Choice Award for Most Popular Female Web Star in 2014, the award for Most Popular Male Web Star went to Tyler Oakley.
