AuronPlay, whose real name is Raúl Álvarez Genes, is a Spanish YouTube comedian renowned for his humorous commentary on social issues. His popular channel has garnered over 15 million subscribers, and his success has extended to publishing three books: "De lo peor, lo mejor: los consejos de Auron," "AuronPlay, El Libro," and "El Juego del Hater." AuronPlay has also made a name for himself on Twitch, streaming gameplay of popular games such as Minecraft and Fall Guys, which has helped him amass over 15 million followers on the platform. Before rising to fame, he worked at a printing house at the age of 16. His first video, "Las clases de Trolls," was uploaded on August 23, 2008. In 2018, he launched his web show "Entre Vistas" on ATRESPlayer, featuring renowned social media influencers. Among his most popular videos are "EL FESTIVAL DE TOMORDORLAND" and "EL TEMAZO DE YLENIA," both of which have over 5 million views. In June 2019, he was humorously named "Minister of YouTube" by El Salvador's Nayib Bukele.

Raúl's personal life includes his mother, Silvia Genes Arenas, an older brother who is four years his senior, and a sister who is 16 years younger. He is also a pet owner, with a black cat named Don Gato. He previously dated popular Instagrammer BJean. In June 2019, he collaborated with Rubius on a whisper challenge video for his YouTube channel.
