Angel Rivera showed an interest in dancing at the age of 14 and gained popularity on his @imangelriveraa TikTok account for sharing his dance videos, lip-syncs and comedic sketches; but, she is now active on the handle @.purpglo. He regularly collaborated with other popular stars on the platform, like Eisha Hickson, Michael Le, Vallyk and lilmark_m256.
He had previously started an Instagram profile with the handle @lightskin732, but later changed to the @imangelriveraa account. One of his first Instagram posts was from October 13, 2019. Angel, who can effortlessly do back flips, has recorded himself doing so for his Instagram feed several times.

Angel Rivera was born to an Afro-Peruvian mother and a Puerto Rican father. He has twin siblings. A close friend of TikTok star Vallyk, he has teased Vallyk by referring to him as his husband. The two often appear on social media together and he even invited Vallyk to feature on his first Q&A video on YouTube.
He previously dated TikTok star Jessika Farrell, also known as Jessika the Prankster. They featured together on several TikTok videos, but they broke up in 2021, reportedly because he cheated on her. A video of Jessika’s heated argument with Angel’s friends went viral following their breakup. He later started dating YouTube star Brittany Kiana, who featured on his YouTube channel and collaborated with him on a song. However, the current status of their relationship is unknown as he showed himself going on a blind date in the video, JUSTINSSKE PUT ME ON A BLIND DATE WITH NELLY, posted on June 10, 2023.
