AldosWorld is the online alias of Canadian YouTuber and social media star Aldo Hafez, who is best recognized for his YouTube channel, AldosWorld TV. He is known for his click-bait supernatural videos, scary videos, pranks, street interviews and other comedic content. He is further active on other social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat. He has opened an online apparel store to sell T-shirts, hoodies, and jackets. He also offers the AldosWorldTV app on mobile devices.
Career
AldosWorld created his YouTube channel, AldosWorld TV, on April 7, 2013 and shortly after uploaded his first video, titled Why Girls Say We’re Stupid. Although the video, which detailed his struggles to understand girls, was funny, he didn’t immediately achieve success on the platform.
In September 2014, he started to post a variety of prank videos, which established him as one of the first pranksters of YouTube and earned him a large number of subscribers by the end of the year. He gained widespread popularity for a video titled Picking up Girls Using the Worst English Accent and earned millions of views on the prank video titled Scaring People Who Text & Walk at the Same Time Prank, uploaded in October 2014.
After posting several prank videos, he switched to public interview videos in which he asked random questions to people in the park, club, mall, and even in prison. He also became popular for his series titled 24 Series, in which he trapped himself in places like night clubs, malls, and prisons for a period of 24 hours. The series became his most-viewed series on the platform and included a video of him and his friends staying overnight in a Wal-Mart, posted in November 2016, which went viral. He crossed one million subscribers on the platform by late 2016.
He has since then shifted focus to uploading click-bait videos with supernatural or scary undertones to keep his audience engaged. In order to make such videos, he has gotten into trouble several times and has been accused of breaking Canadian laws on various occasions, although he mostly escaped with little consequences.
He is also an entrepreneur who ventured into business in 2017 with the online apparel and accessories store called Aldosworld (www.aldosworldstore.com), which sells printed T-shirts, hoodies, and jackets among other things. He has also created an android app called AldosWorldTV to help his dedicated fans to keep up to date with any news about him or his content, and to offer exclusive member services.
Family Life
AldosWorld, whose real name is Aldo Hafez, is of Syrian descent. He has a sister named Sarah whose wedding he attended in August 2020.
