Akai Osei

Akai Osei is a British dancer who gained fame by winning the inaugural season of Britain's Got to Dance in 2009. Born in Lambeth, a suburb of London, he began dancing professionally as a toddler. Over the years, he has appeared in numerous music videos and on the children's television program Blue Peter. In addition to his dancing career, Akai has also served as a presenter on the popular British TV series Friday Download.

Career & Family Life

In 2011, Akai was invited to be a judge on the talent show competition Shake It Up Dance Dance, which was broadcast on the Disney Channel. He has danced with members of the renowned dance group Diversity, including head choreographer Ashley Banjo, in various music videos. Akai also has a sister named Ashanti, who shares his passion for the performing arts.
