AJ Rafael

AJ Rafael is a Filipino-American singer and multi-instrumentalist whose career was sparked by his popular YouTube channel. He self-released the EPs "Juicebox" and "Beautiful Escape" before debuting his first LP, "Red Roses," in June 2011. Born in Moreno Valley, California, AJ auditioned for American Idol in 2005 and created his YouTube channel the following year. His growing popularity earned him a nomination to participate in Billboard's Battle of the Bands in 2011, alongside artists like Lightning Love.

Career & Family Life

AJ Rafael has sisters named Jasmine and Justine and has lived in Riverside, California. In the fall of 2022, he married Alyssa Navarro. He has also been involved in charitable activities, performing at the annual charity concert Music Speaks with artists like Jennifer Chung.
