Aisha Mian is an American social media star and actress who gained popularity with her twin sister Azra on their shared YouTube channel MianTwins. She has a massive following on her personal TikTok profile @itsaishamian and on her Instagram handle @aishamian. She and Azra were also members of the twin-centered channel Squared and the influencer group Triller Compound.
Early Life
Aisha Mian, along with her twin Azra, attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, but eventually dropped out to focus on social media.
Career
Aisha Mian and her sister Azra started out on YouTube with the MianTwins channel in January 2014, when they were 13, after being inspired by twin creators like The Dolan Twins and Brooklyn and Bailey. They were still in school and began making videos about their routine, showed off their outfits, made beauty and hair tutorials and vlogged about their school life. Aisha was voted the Homecoming Queen in her school in 2018 and vlogged every day the whole Homecoming week. On June 4, 2017, they announced through a vlog that they would join the Squared YouTube channel dedicated specifically towards twin-related content. They continued to make content for the channel until it became inactive in mid-2019.
Despite the two sisters consistently uploading videos on their channel and the Squared channel on YouTube, they had only amassed a few hundred thousand subscribers on the platform until August 2020. They told Dixie D’Amelio on The Early Late Night Show in July 2021 that while they had already amassed about 300K TikTok followers showcasing their lip-sync videos, when one of their videos went viral and earned over 85 million views, taking them past one million followers. Also in 2020, they joined Triller Compound, a content house for social media creators.
She started her acting career appearing in one episode of the miniseries Netflix Dreams in 2020. It was followed by a starring role in the Facebook Watch reality series House of Creators and a supporting role in the series More Than Just Me, both in 2021. Next year, she appeared in the music video of gfy by Machine Gun Kelly and Blackbear. In February 2022, she and her sister introduced their joint podcast All Access with Azra & Aisha on their YouTube channel.
Family Life
Aisha Mian was born to an Albanian mother and a Pakistani father, Suhai, also known as Rocky. She has three older sisters, Jannat and Jasmina and her twin sister Azra. The twins were born nine minutes apart, although one naturally and the other through a C-section. She is fluent in Urdu. She grew up in a traditional Muslim household where religion played an important factor. During an appearance on The Good Boys Podcast in 2022, the twins claimed that they don’t hug each other because they don’t feel hugging a presence.
She has been linked with fellow TikToker Nate Wyatt since they started making flirty content together, but she revealed on the BFFs Podcast in December 2022 that they were just good friends.
