Adore Delano first gained national attention as a contestant on the seventh season of American Idol, making it to the semi-finals. During her audition, she impressed the judges with her performance of "Proud Mary" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Following her stint on American Idol, Adore transitioned into the world of drag and competed on the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she became a fan favorite. She later appeared on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars but exited the show early. In 2014, she ventured into music, releasing a single called "Superstar."
